A cappella

Acapella

They minister through more than 140 concerts every year. They are on the road at least eleven months of the year. They tour internationally, having recently visited Brazil, China, and Japan. Still, you would be hard pressed to find men more humble and self-sacrificing than these gentlemen.

Gary Evans, from Lubbock, Texas, adds an amazingly low bass to the mix. Sean Samuel is the energetic lead and Nicolas Dunbar adds a soulful feel to the group. Rounding out Acappella we have our screaming first tenor, Matt Nunnally. The sum of the parts is much greater than the whole. Standing in front, directing them at all times, is Jesus Christ. He is the reason they are together.

Let them share with you their passion. Listen to their music. Understand what drives them. Visit them online. You'll be glad you did.

Rescue

In the spring of 1996, Jason Overstreet had just finished his Senior College Recital. He had written and arranged several a cappella songs, and with the help of several friends, performed them at that recital. Moved by the performance, his professors and peers urged him to pursue his musical talents in the field of Christian music ministry. Having had previous conversations regarding a shared passion for singing, Jason got in touch with high-school and college friends Jason McKenney, and now former members, Chad Krober and Matt Lusk. Together they formed a quartet and endeavored to commit to learning, writing and performing a cappella songs with a focus on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Within a few short weeks of the friends getting together, Rescue was born.

Halogen

Halogen is a contemporary five-man a cappella group, who started performing in North Alabama and the surrounding area in 1995. They started out, like a lot of a cappella groups, with some Acappella classics. Over the past few years, however, they've really found their niche by writing and performing their own music, calling on their classical, jazz, R & B, modern country, and pop influences for a unique sound.

They perform everywhere from church services, concerts, banquets, weddings, grand opening ceremonies, sports events, and songwriters' competitions to television commercials. In all things--though they sing for audiences of all kinds--they strive to remember that they sing to an audience of One.
