Lord's Supper
Luke 7:36-50

"He who has been forgiven little loves little and he who has been forgiven much loves much." How much do YOU love Jesus? It all depends upon how much for which you think you have been forgiven. To know how much you have been forgiven you must understand how much you have sinned. Those who love Jesus the most are those who have the deepest sense of their own sin and who feel they have received the most mercy.

The Lords Supper is a time for us to consider and meditate on the depth of our OWN sins for which Jesus died and for which we have been forgiven. If you feel your own guilt and your own sin, as far as Jesus is concerned, this is a good sign. Jesus wel- comes sinners, especially those who realize the depravity of their own sin.

One thing is for sure. He who feels forgiven for little will love little while he who feels forgiven for a lot will love a lot!
