Death is one of the most painful experiences of life, especially when it comes to the death of a child, parent, spouse, or brother or sister.
Jesus raises the girl from the dead. While on earth he raised, not everyone, but only two people from the dead. Why did he do it?
He raised this girl (and Lazarus) to illustrate that one day he will raise us all from the dead and give us our relationships back again. He will raise every parent and he will raise every child. Family members will be reunited again.
This is what we celebrate in Christ.
