John the Baptist asks a very important question here that we all should ask. Who is Jesus anyway? And more specifically, "Who is Jesus to me? What do I think of him? Really?"
Jesus gave John the facts that tell us who he really is: 4-6
Jesus gave us the evidence that he really was God in the flesh. He really is the Son of God. What he did proved it!
When we take the Lord’s Supper we should examine our hearts to see if we believe that Jesus is the Christ. The critical question is not whether or not I have been baptized, or do I call myself a Christian, or am I in church, or even do I read the Bible. The critical question is: "What do I really believe about Jesus?"
