In this text, Jesus reminds us the world is like a field and if we are sons of the kingdom, we stand for the good seed and the good crops in this field. God has made something good out of us. Here, Jesus also reminds us that finally those who are not sons of the kingdom will be shown for who they are and will be punished forever.
As we remember what Jesus has done for us, we should be thankful and be happy that we are considered good seed, that Jesus has made something good out of those of us who are sons of the kingdom. And we can rest assured that in the end, evil people will be shown for who they are. The good will triumph over the wicked.
