Welcome to the eighth installment of Family Time!

Yahooligans
Leading off this issue is the one of the Internet's busiest sites geared towards children, Yahooligans. With numerous activities, including games, reviews, pertinent information and much more, this is a great start to exploring the web. With all links geared towards kids, this is a safe place to make your child's homepage. |

RadioLovers.com I'm back in the saddle again, out where a friend is a friend, where the longhorn cattle feed... If you know the rest of this song, you've probably been around for a while. This is one of my favorite sites. I listened to reruns of Amos & Andy while milking on my dad's farm. I was quite excited when I found this site with a large number of old radio shows available for free listening, including many Amos & Andy episodes. Other programs include Abbott & Costello, Encore Theater, Flash Gordon, Gunsmoke, and many more. |
| Top Secret Recipes
If you've ever eaten out and wondered about the restaurant's recipe, this may be the site to visit. Although the main purpose of the site is to sell the associated books, the site contains a number of very good recipes, from Applebee's® Baked French Onion Soup to Yoo-hoo® Mix-ups. |

Yahoo! Games
Another entry from one of the web's busiest sites, Yahoo! Games has some downloadable games, but the main attraction is the large number of online games that you can play with people all over the world. (Spades is my favorite) |

About.com: Urban Legends and Folklore
Do people grimace when you send them another of those--If you care, you'll send this to 50 million people and Bill Gates will give you $10,000,000 and tickets to Disney World if you sign this with 3,000,000,000,000 other people, then send your bottle caps to the poor kid stuck in bed with agoraphobia emails? If so, check out this site. It covers the current scams, hoaxes, and other worthless emails flooding the net. Don't be a spam spreader! |
